Mr. PC is a sextet based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex containing three horns and a rhythm section. Founded in 2019 by Preston Cummins, it is fronted by Cummins on baritone saxophone, Brenton Wolfe on trumpet, and Paul Birk on trombone. Mr. PC’s arrangements contain rich, 3-part harmony with a very adaptive rhythm section behind. The group has many original compositions that they regularly perform as well as transcriptions of tunes by some of the jazz greats. They recorded their first album, Sessions, June 7, 2021. They regularly perform throughout the DFW metroplex.
