Blood May Rise, Shortened (BMR) is a Colombian Metalcore, Djent band formed in Medellin in 2011. Their musical style has been described as an original mix between Groove, Djent, Progressive, and Metalcore, they are considered one of the pioneers of the Djent movement in Medellin. now with a new north, adding hip hop and electronic music to the mix and heavily inspired by Japanese Anime and Cyberpunk aesthetic the band will release their new EP "ISEKAI" this 2023 \n\nthe band has been the support act for bands such as \n\nForty Winters (USA)\n\nArcadia Libre (MEX)\n\nSworn Enemy (USA)\n\nMunicipal Waste (USA)\n\nDeicide (USA)\n\nLa Pestilencia (COL)\n\nMasacre (COL)\n\ntheir live performances made them secure a spot as headliners in Altavoz Fest 2021, one of the biggest music festivals in Colombia and Latin America.
