From the land of Rain, Cheese and Electronic Music, hails the rising powerhouse that is Mees Salomé!\n\nBorn and raised in the Netherlands, Mees embarked on his musical journey at the age of 17. After completing high school, Mees pursued formal training in Creative Production at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. However, feeling constrained by the limitations of traditional education, he opted to chart his own course.\n\nIn addition to his production endeavours, Mees is the founder of Distant, a platform that has evolved from a monthly podcast into a renowned event, hosting esteemed artists and performing his now homegrown favourite open to close sets. \n\nWhilst Mees has had previous releases on labels such as; Filth on Acid, This Never Happened, Armada and more, he has also had prominent collaborations remixing tracks for Joris Voorn, Tinlicker and Röyksopp. Mees’s music has garnered strong support from Adriatique, Camelphat, Kölsch, Nora En Pure, Joris Voorn, Lane 8, ASOT, BBC Radio 1 & many more.\n\nMees has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique melodic sound. He has taken the stage with previous performances at events such as; Hangar Brussels, Loveland, Ame Club, Pleinvrees, Watergate and DGTL to name a few, and has major upcoming shows at Tomorrowland, Pacha Ibiza and Purified. \n\nIt’s safe to say the sky's the limit for Mees, and this journey has so much more to be written.
