\nBorn and raised in Los Angeles, Godfrey’s music was nurtured by a rich, diverse body of sounds, ranging from Marvin Gaye to Mars Volta. As he began to discover his own voice in the LA music community, he released his first song with Mochilla & ArtDontSleep on the Timeless Concert Series in 2010. From there, Godfrey has gone on to record and perform with some of the most influential artists of our generation, including Kamasi Washington, Terrace Martin, Bilal, Aloe Blacc & more.\n
