Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, now residing in Conyers (an Atlanta suburb) and Los Angeles, <a href="spotify:artist:2pIP61k0TIAFjna6vnALMp" data-name="KILJ">KILJ</a> (born Jelani Lofton) had first hopped on the music scene in early 2019 at the age of 14. Making music inspired by artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:4MCBfE4596Uoi2O4DtmEMz" data-name="Juice WRLD">Juice WRLD</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5zctI4wO9XSKS8XwcnqEHk" data-name="Lil Mosey">Lil Mosey</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:26VFTg2z8YR0cCuwLzESi2" data-name="Halsey">Halsey</a>, etc. He’s part of the &#34;new wave&#34; of teen musicians as he is 18 years old as early 2022. Like many others, the young artist made his start on SoundCloud as KILJ and released his debut single <a href="spotify:track:4lhOkh5NYWDUIjnqENWm3b" data-name="Black Hole">Black Hole</a> in late-June followed by <a href="spotify:track:1btk0vP0izjmaTkYF8F4ZA" data-name="95">95</a> with sadtaylor at the beginning of July, which currently has more than half a million streams. He then released a collaboration track featuring Yung Divide called <a href="spotify:track:5bixAyuia8E2GUDgXVQLBz" data-name="Better Off Alone">Better Off Alone</a>. With over 1 million streams, it was KILJ’s most popular song until he released <a href="spotify:track:0vpawKw0jXvUCbHAGUXDGj" data-name="No Remedy">No Remedy</a>. Which is sitting at 11 million streams and counting. He’s also been featured on well-respected music platforms such as Lyrical Lemonade, ELEVATOR, Promoting Sounds, Banger Of The Day, and more. He has since released more successful singles such as <a href="spotify:album:4F7xQYxUhAGY5cxkwxwR9k" data-name="wish i never met u">wish i never met u</a> with <a href="spotify:artist:138UAIyJocdHT5PpR0iTJE" data-name="Thekidszn">Thekidszn</a>, <a href="spotify:album:490Y2UByqWngOzMoqNQdpJ" data-name="No Remedy Pt.2">No Remedy Pt.2</a>, and <a href="spotify:track:6e2SisrnCwtfE049YMYeXC" data-name="Tracksuits">Tracksuits</a>.
